A different way to tour.

No big coaches. No rushing from attraction to attraction. No spending weeks planning your trip.

Hosted Tours brings together a small group of like-minded travellers and gives them a dedicated host to take care of the journey.

Your host drives the group, knows the itinerary and makes sure everything runs smoothly, leaving you free to enjoy the places, people and experiences along the way.

Jemima, your Lake District host, with Derwentwater and the fells behind her

Meet your host

Jemima

Warm, knowledgeable and endlessly patient, Jemima has more than ten years’ experience hosting and guiding small-group tours across the UK.

The Lake District is a particular passion. She knows not only the famous landmarks, but also the quiet villages, hidden viewpoints, favourite country pubs and little local stories that can turn a good trip into a memorable one.

Jemima’s relaxed, unhurried approach is at the heart of the experience. She’s accustomed to looking after guests with different interests, personalities and levels of mobility, and is adept at dealing calmly with everything from a last-minute change of plan to the unpredictable Lake District weather.

Most importantly, Jemima is there to make your holiday easy. From collecting you in the morning and taking care of the day’s arrangements to recommending the perfect lunch stop, there’s always someone on hand who knows where you’re going and what happens next.

Think of her less as a tour guide and more as your personal Lake District host.
